Dr. Aziza Sesay is a GP based in the UK. She is a GP Educator, Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer, mentor, speaker, host and content creator, with a passion for health education, awareness, advocacy and empowerment.
She channels this through her platform ‘Talks with Dr. Sesay’ which was birthed out of concerns over the rise of health misinformation during the height of the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
TWDS aims to prevent disease, promote early diagnosis and moderate disease progression through infographics, informative videos and live virtual workshops on a variety of topics including women’s health, cancer awareness, mental health and health inequity.
Dr Sesay aims to empower, educate and enlighten more individuals about common medical conditions to encourage them to lead healthier lifestyles, take control of their health and gain confidence in advocating for themselves when necessary and has collaborated with many different organisations including Eve Appeal, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Coppafeel.
